Putting public education first

Australia has been well served by its public education system. Public schools, TAFE colleges and universities have created a more just society and have contributed to our ability to generate wealth, conduct a democracy and produce a dynamic and vibrant culture.

The Greens have campaigned alongside teachers and their unions, students, parents and the community to build that alternative.
