The Anvil Hill coalmine in the Hunter Valley has been approved but
the campaign to stop the mine is far from over. People from all over
NSW are coming together to ramp up opposition and stop the bulldozers
from moving in.
Join us on 25 - 26 August next to the Anvil Hill site for an
inspiring weekend of workshops and skillsharing on peaceful direct
action and campaigning. There'll be plenty of time for bushwalking too.
If you're concerned about climate change, if you're sick of
Governments failing to listen, and if you're ready to take peaceful
direct action to help protect our future from dangerous climate
change, this weekend is for you!
It'll be a great opportunity to learn some new skills and camp in the
beautiful bush near the Anvil Hill site. So come along, bring your
family and friends, and get involved in the campaign.
Arrive Friday night for a Saturday morning start. To RSVP or for more
information, please email anvilhill@gmail.com or phone (02) 6547 6048.
Organised by local residents with the support of The Anvil Hill
Alliance, Greenpeace, Rising Tide and the Greens NSW.
