Australian Greens Senator Kerry Nettle will announce the Greens
candidate for Wentworth, this Sunday at The Pavilion, Campbell Parade,
Bondi Beach.

Wentworth is now on a margin of 2.6 per cent which makes it the second most marginal coalition seat in NSW and the ninth most marginal Coalition seat in the country.  The Greens candidate will stand apart from the duo of male lawyers comprising Malcolm Turnbull  and his ALP challenger Mr George Newhouse. The March 2007 NSW election revealed strong support for the Greens in the area, with the Greens candidate for Vaucluse outpolling the ALP candidate by several hundred votes.  On that basis, the Greens preference flow is likely to see Malcolm Turnbull looking for new work after the next election.
