Opening of Lismore campaign office

The Greens office will be the 100% green powered headquarters for the Lismore campaign to elect Andy Gough at the March 24 NSW state election. In addition to providing detailed information on all Greens policies, there will be a renewable energy display in conjunction with Rainbow Power Company, and video screenings about the realities of dealing with climate change.

"The Greens can offer solutions to climate change that the major parties won't even contemplate. They are beholden to the coal industry and corporate donations and are blind to the real alternatives. Clean coal is a myth. I invite all residents of the Northern Rivers to come in and see what we're offering," said Andy Gough, the Greens candidate for the seat of Lismore.

"We will also be launching our 'It's time' slogan, signifying that it's time to take real action on climate change," Andy said.

(...and to milk some mileage from older Labor voters - "Go Gough!")
