The Greens have renewed their call for a federal anti-corruption body, after another former MP exposed by NSW ICAC was found guilty of criminal misconduct today.
Greens spokesperson for democracy Senator Lee Rhiannon said, "What's the chance corruption only happens in state politics? The case for a federal ICAC is now overwhelming.
"Liberal Minister Mathias Cormann has previously argued that we already have a 'robust framework to fight corruption' at the federal level. That is demonstrably untrue.
